Quinte Country and Prince Edward County
Slip off your sandals, dig your toes in the sand and stroll along some of the finest beaches in the province where you can climb soaring dunes and build fabulous castles. Try your luck at fishing for walleye or hunting for antiques amidst 19th-century architecture as you steep yourself in the history of the early Loyalist settlers. Drive or cycle along Ontario's oldest road where farms dot the countryside or pack a picnic and watch the boats come and go at the eastern gateway to the Trent-Severn Waterway System. Just be sure to save time and see the sun set as you sample the bouquet of Ontario's newest wine region - Prince Edward County. With so much to see and do, it's delightful to get lost for a week or a weekend on Quinte Country.

Must See
