History buffs can witness the past unfold at faithful re-enactments of War of 1812 battles or enjoy the stirring military music and spectacle at Fort Henry's famous Sunset Ceremonies.

Spend an afternoon in the 19th century at a pioneer village and see first hand the adventures and challenges faced by early settlers. The plaintive skirl of the pipes beckons you to the highland games in Kincardine and a dozen other Scottish communities in Ontario.

Experience the world in one place at the International Villages Festival in Brantford where the community's proud multicultural heritage is celebrated with food, fun and great family entertainment.

Take a culinary tour of the world at Toronto's Caravan, an annual festival that celebrates the ethnic mosaic of what the United Nations called "the world's most multicultural city." Mid-summer, it's party central at the Caribana, North America's largest Caribbean Festival, where the colourful atmosphere is electric.
